Oracle Claims It’s Got More Dirt on SAP

Oracle claims it’s found evidence of broad copyright infringement by SAP over and above and entirely different from that suit it brought against SAP and its support subsidiary TomorrowNow 10 months ago. In that suit Oracle charged them with copyright infringement and “corporate theft on a grand scale.”

Oracle hasn’t explained yet what it’s got on SAP but it told the court it may amend its already colorful suit to include new claims.

Oracle also claims SAP is sitting on discovery documents.

So far SAP has admitted that TomorrowNow made “inappropriate downloads” of Oracle’s support material; acknowledged an investigation by the Justice Department; canned TomorrowNow’s top management; and voiced an interest in dumping the whole operation.
